Love & Loved is a relaxed and modern bridal boutique with a selection of made-to-order wedding gowns and separates looking for love. We work with talented designers who celebrate women, put sustainability at the heart of what they do and win awards for their work.
Our brand new, rural Buckinghamshire barn bridal boutique is traditional on the outside but striking and contemporary on the inside. It’s a calm and considered space for an effortless wedding dress shopping experience. The bridal experience we offer is as unique as the bride. We recognise finding “the one” means something different to each of our brides, for some it’s the most exciting part of the planning process for others it’s daunting and overwhelming. Our style is relaxed and will be tailored to the experience you want. We want you to have fun and we want to be right there with you.
We describe our wedding dress collection in the same way as we refer to our bridal boutique, a little off the beaten track but super accessible. If you’re a free spirited bride and bohemian is your style or you’re looking for relaxed and whimsical, then our collections from E&W Couture and Shikoba Bride are perfect for you. For something modern, edgy, minimalist and understated you will be in safe hands with Rolling in Roses. Since their simple and elegant gowns are made from sustainable and ethically produced fabrics, you can be sure to feel as good as you look.
We don’t preach to be perfect but the biggest draw to our gorgeous location was how its kind on the environment. Our wedding dress shop is at the heart of the Swanbourne Estate which has a wide ranging conservation programme. They are meticulous in their preservation and enhancement of the ancient historic parkland and local landscape. Replanted traditional wildflower meadows, orchards and woodlands are a key feature of the estate.
Solar panels on the neighbouring grain store gives energy straight back to the grid and our heating comes from a new “green” air sourced heat pump. We provide a habitat for local bats (at a safe distance from our gorgeous gowns) and new ponds have been created to take care of the local wildlife. The restoration of the barn has been designed to be an accessible space as we wish to make everyone who visits us feel most welcome.

And as for me, I’m Vicky, Founder and Owner of Love & Loved. I’m a wife and mum to two little boys. Before realising my dream and opening the boutique, I was a Buyer for a much loved department store retailer here in the UK. With over 15 years retail experience I’m delighted to be working in the bridal industry meeting unique and wonderful women every day.
