Nomad by Shikoba Bride
It was such a thrill to attend this years reinvented White Gallery, an event for wedding industry insiders to meet designers who are showcasing their new collections. Relocated to the trendy and eclectic Brick Lane, just a short stroll from the bustle of Spitalfields Market, White Gallery brings together unique and independent designers from the UK and beyond. It’s a step off the beaten track, the vibe is cool, unique and modern, with not a commercial, me too style gown in sight.

When I first entered the show my eye was immediately drawn to a striking, crisp ivory gown made from a gorgeous floral chiffon, with a 3/4 length puff sleeve, side split and pockets. As I took in the beauty of the dress I realised the model wearing it was Libby from Shikoba Bride and I knew in that moment that dress was coming to Love & Loved. It has all the features an L&L bride loves and I have to say the rest of the collection did not disappoint.

The Nomad collection is for the wandering spirit. The latest collection by Shikoba Bride is inspired by brides and their dream destinations; mountains, sandy beaches, wildflower meadows, urban landscapes, woodlands and everywhere in between.
The Nomad collection is typically eclectic, with a romantic, ethereal vibe. Expect new laces, clean lines and exaggerated features.
Sadie
Sadie is luxe with down to earth drama. Made from a floral chiffon she has all the features you could wish for. Puff sleeves, pockets and a side split. The versatility of Sadie means she wouldn’t look out of place at a country house wedding, a rustic barn wedding, or a chic city location.
Storm
Storm is a show stopping A-line overdress, designed to be worn with Lark, a new slip dress from the Nomad collection. Storm is delicately scattered with small pearls, beads and tiny star shaped sequins. Storm is for the bohemian bride who can’t resist a touch of sparkle. Dazzle at a beach wedding or brighten up a rustic barn wedding.
Bodhi
Bodhi is a strapless wedding dress crafted with a gorgeous soft embroidered tulle and bohemian lace. Bodhi has a drop hip, flaring out into an Aline skirt. The hip and arm cuff feature a knotted trim for added bohemian style.
Taylor
Taylor is s gorgeous ivory silky satin wedding gown made from recycled fabric. She has a bishop sleeve, v neck, diamond back detail, full skirt, delicate floral feature lace cuff and long neck tiebacks.
Estella
Estella joins our line up of toppers that can be worn over one of our Shikoba slip dresses. The sparkly topper is delicately beaded and with little pearls and stars and has silk tie back and button back details.
Cora
Cora is a gorgeous new slip dress that can be worn on its own or paired with one of our gorgeous toppers. She has a soft square neckline and a billowing Aline. The dress has pockets and a high split.
The Nomad collection realises the passions of the designer to include more sustainably sourced and made dresses. Sadie and Taylor are debut wedding dresses from Shikoba Wild, sister label of Shikoba Bride. Shikoba Wild designs have been made in London, from fabrics sourced in the UK, with some featuring recycled eco fabrics.
